Additional Retreat Information – April
We are approaching our April 16-18, 2021 Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat at St. Albert Parish Center, 11458 57th St NE, Albertville, MN 55301.
We will be lodging at the Country Inn & Suites, 6554 Lamplight Dr, Albertville MN 55301.
Plan to arrive at the Country Inn between 4:30 and 5:30 pm Friday, so that you have time to check into your room and get settled. (The cost of the hotel is included in your retreat fee.) We will be there to assist you in checking in and you’ll be able to identify us by our name tags.
We will leave for St. Albert Parish Hall at 5:45 pm for a light supper at 6:00 pm and to start our retreat.
Now I’d like to address deeper matters of the heart and soul. It is normal if you are experiencing apprehension. If you feel anxious, please know that you are not alone. There are others who are coming on this retreat who feel the same way. Although this feeling can be disconcerting, it can also be motivating. It may have influenced your registering for this retreat, which is a giant step for you to take on your healing path! Signing up for Rachel’s Vineyard required both courage and faith.
I encourage you to be steadfast in your resolve to help yourself with the gift of this retreat. The retreat offers a nurturing environment, so that it is possible for you to go back through sad memories of loss and then journey forward into the healing you seek. Many of God’s blessings and graces await you, if you will persevere.
We recommend getting extra rest before your retreat because you will have very full days and late nights. During the weekend you’ll be processing a lot… mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Being well rested when you arrive will help you immensely. Also consider taking the day after the retreat off from work. It will give you a chance to reflect on the weekend and all that you’ve experienced.
Bring comfortable clothes, toiletries, an alarm clock, any special dietary needs, and a nicer outfit for the Sunday Memorial Service and Mass. Bed linens, towels, meals, beverages and snacks are provided.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, we will need to wear masks most of the time. We will have disposable masks available or you are welcome to bring your own. Everyone (participants and team members) will be required to sign COVID-19 liability release forms.
We will have a Memorial Service and Mass on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we cannot have guests join us this time. The retreat will conclude by 5:00 PM. For more information about the Memorial Service, click here.
The team of helpers is prayerfully preparing for your weekend and look forward to welcoming you. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me via email or text at 612-508-2184.
May God watch over you and protect you as you prepare for this pilgrimage of healing.
In Christ’s Peace,

Do not be afraid I am with you. I have called you by name and you are mine. When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you. For I am the Lord your God who saves because you are precious in my eyes and because I love you. ~ Isaiah 43
